Description : Upndown - Route Building Challenge History: Upndown is a fictional route somewhere in the UK, there are four stations, a yard, and a small depot which houses a few workhorse locomotives. The Upndown Terminus has two mainline platforms and a third shorter bay platform with a headshunt. The idea here is that shorter or slower traffic stops here and won't interfere with the higher speed traffic. This bay platform also has a use with the special steam services whereby a diesel can for the special service in the headshunt waits to tow the consist back to Midtown Yards as it's the nearest place to turn the steam locos on the turntable round to the other direction if needed for a later turn. Focus Time Period: As this is a fictional route you can create any scenarios from the 1960's onwards, since the route is signalled with coloured light signals. This route is NOT finished, around 90% complete, scenery is missing and the section between Leaftown and Downfields has been painted badly, hence the rapeseed oil over the tracks at one part (can't seem to delete them). All criteria for the challenge has been met... You can distribute this route in it's unfinished state without permission. You can modify this route - BUT give credit to me in any upload.
