Description : TFL This Train Goes Round and Round. For use with Railworks2 TrainSimulator. This route has been built using default assets and the UK Buildings Model Pack (Free DLC from Steam) for the Route Building Challenge No.2 October 2010 by Ross Fraser (class43hs125) The concept / theme of this route is that track plan number 18 was taken from “Track Plans 5th edition Hornby Railways” and in true model railway fashion was modified to suit the available space. The resulting route grew from there and has also faithfully kept to the model railway tradition of never being quite finished. There is always more that could/should be done. The Standard Scenario, Last days of steam, has you at Waikuku station Platform 3 awaiting the arrival of a freight train at 10.05 . Your duty is to take over the driving of this train and to drop off the 6 general freight wagons at the Waikuku yard siding 1A and then continue on to the coaling stage at Kaiapoi yard. At Kaiapoi Yard you have to place the full coal wagons in the Kai. Coal 1 siding, having first removed the empty wagons to Kai. Yd. Loop A. Your duty finishes with parking the loco at Kai. MPD. 1A There are 3 free roam scenarios :- A Spring morning at Woodend Engine shed , Kaiapoi MPD and Waikuku MPD. These scenarios have you at the various locations with a selection of locos to drive out and about to explore the big wide world. When exiting Kaiapoi Yard you may be required to request permission to SPAD . To the best of my knowledge there are no hidden bugs lurking , but if you find one, be kind…….. don’t squash it. Please report it to Railsim@thefraserline.co.nz and have it exterminated officially. Most of all Enjoy the fun of exploring some place new, remembering that the price was right :) NB. Please do not report fences across roads as these are a result of my having great difficulty being able to select them to delete them at the time of initially building this route.
